How many batting cages do you have?
We have one batting cage.
What time will my batting cage session start?
The time of your batting session is detailed on your email confirmation. You will need to check in at the Welcome Desk on the third floor and we recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your booked slot, so we can get you set up and playing as soon as possible.
Where do I check in for batting?
You will need to check in at the Welcome desk located on the third floor - ten minutes before your booked session. At the end of your session you'll need to return everything to where you checked in.
Do I need to book the batting cages in advance?
We always recommend booking in advance but we do have a limited number of walk-in slots each day for groups of all sizes, just enquire about availability when you arrive, and our team will be happy to advise on the next available slot. Please note, walk in slots are subject to availability and wait times vary depending on demand.
Can I bring my own bat?
No - we only use our own. We offer a choice of high quality bats to ensure that you are able to reach your peak performance!
Are there safety rules or guidelines I should be aware of for the batting cages?
For your own safety please follow the following rules:
- Do not use the equipment prior to your safety briefing
- Only one person allowed in the batting cage at any one time.
- Do not remove any equipment from the batting cage.
- Please drink and play responsibly
- Be aware that balls may collect in the lane and cause a trip hazard.
Is there a dress code for the batting cages?
Players must wear closed-toe shoes and we recommend comfortable trainers or flat shoes with grip as mobility and balance are key for this activity.
How do the batting cages work?
Each players can choose from a selection of baseball, tennis and cricket options and select a difficulty level. Players then take turns to test their batting skills against a series of balls, bowled by a virtual pitcher. The aim is to score as high a score as possible by striking the numbered targets around the area.
How old do I need to be to use the batting cages?
Batting players must be 6 years or older.
